Police Officer of the month

Sergeant Chris Case is in charge of serving
warrants, subpoenas, maintaining evidence, and also serves
as the municipal court bailiff. Sgt. Case goes above
and beyond his duties by making sure that officers have
their evidence ready for court and by notifying officers
about the "status" of their case. He has saved
many officers a trip to court on their day off by contacting
officers and letting them know that their case(s) have been
continued or that a plea agreement has been reached. He
often checks with officers to see when they want to have
their evidence ready to be picked up so that he will have it
ready at a convienent time. Officer Case always has a
positive attitude towards the public and the department and
is always willing to assist in any way. Often times he
goes out of his way to help the patrol division by working
traffic collisions, funeral details, and answering service
calls. Officer Case is well known as a family man and as an
active member of his church. He also keeps himself in
outstanding physical condition. I am honored to nominate
Sergeant Chris Case for the June Officer of the Month
Award.
